On October 22, 2012, Cody Lee Barrett, 21 of Stewartville, appeared before Judge Benson at the Fillmore County Courthouse for sentencing. He was found guilty of Theft- take/drive motor vehicle with no owner consent, and sentenced to the St. Cloud Correctional Facility for 19 months. He was given credit for 84 days served.
He was also found guilty of Burglary in the 3rd Degree, and sentenced to 27 months at the St. Cloud Correctional Facility; Burglary in the 1st Degree and sentenced to 68 months at the St. Cloud Correctional Facility; and Burglary in the 1st Degree- possess weapon, occupied dwelling, and sentenced to 68 months at the St. Cloud Correctional Facility.
