For the past two years, Senator Jeremy Miller and his fellow Tea Party Republicans have focused on preserving tax cuts for their wealthy friends. Instead of asking the wealthy to pay their fair share of taxes, they have robbed funds from our local schools and cut programs that helped Minnesotans in need. They’ve passed the buck down to local government resulting in increased property taxes. Jeremy Miller’s claim that Minnesota’s economy is “in the black” is a lie and an insult to hardworking Minnesotans throughout the state. This is a young man who is out of touch with the state of our economy. Jeremy has no idea what it’s like to be jobless in Minnesota or what it’s like to worry about where your family’s next meal is coming from. Minnesotans deserve better. We take care of our neighbors, and fairness matters. I will vote for Jack Krage in November. He will bring responsibility, fairness, and integrity back to Minnesota State Senate.
