The Fillmore Central High School Band Department will have 8 students proudly represent its school at the 2012 Three Rivers Honor Music Festival. The event will be held at St. Charles High School on Monday, November 5th, 2012. Students are selected based on nomination from their director, Mr. Lane M. Powell. Guest conductor for the band is Joan D’Albequerque, Director of Bands at Luther College in Decorah, Iowa. Participating students from Fillmore Central are from left to right: Nick Powell, percussion; Taylor Case, alto saxophone; Courtney Schroeder, horn; Morgan Malley, percussion; Jordan O’Connor, clarinet; Gwen Petrillo, flute; Kerri Dornink, trumpet,; and Jesse Nelson, trombone.
