The Fillmore County Board met in regular session at the Courthouse in the City of Preston. All members were present. Also present were the Coordinator/Clerk, and other department heads and staff, citizens, and two members of the press.
The following resolutions were adopted by the Board:
RESOLUTION 2012-045: Preliminary 2013 budget
RESOLUTION 2012-046: Preliminary 2013 levy
The Board approved the following agenda items:
• the amended agenda.
• the following amended Consent Agenda:
1. September 4, 2012 County Board minutes.
2. Overnight stays for Health Educator to attend 2012 Community Health Conference.
3. Appointment of Commissioners Kaase and Bakke, Sheriff Jensen, Attorney Corson, Health Educator Pohlman, Zoning Administrator Graves and Coordinator Brown to rural Mabel Property Evaluation Committee.
4. Tobacco licenses for Preston Motor Mart, Wykoff Short Stop and ZZ Tap.
• accept high bid for rental of Fillmore County farm land and enter into lease.
• appoint Ronald Gregg as acting County Engineer effective November 2 or 9, 2012.
• purchase 2013 GMC Sierra WT 4WD Extended Cab replacement pickup from Nelson Auto Center.
• Federal Aviation Administration agreement for airport beacon runway and approach path indicator lights and installation of fuel facility.
• schedule preliminary 2013 Budget and Levy Public Hearing for 6:30 p.m. on December 11, 2012.
• enter into agreement with Financial Marketing Concepts, Inc. for prescription discounts.
• amended Southeast Service Cooperative Joint Powers Agreement with Southeast Service Cooperative.
• access permit for Milo Broadwater to CSAH #15, Carimona Twp., Section 13.
• access permit for Craig Kinsky to CSAH #5, York Twp., Section 27.
• access permit for Alex Mensink to CSAH #9, Carimona Twp., Section 31.
• access permit for Robert & Karen Prinsen to CSAH #20, York Twp., Section 1.
• access permit for Joseph Mulhern to CSAH #17, Fountain Twp., Section 6.
