HARMONY, Minn. – Harmony’s Fall Foliage Days are approaching and one event of the weekend is the City-Wide Garage Sale, Oct. 5 and 6. Habitat for Humanity Winona-Fillmore Counties will be taking part in the garage sale both days from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Habitat for Humanity Office (Harmony Visitors Center; 15 2nd St NW) and we need your help! If you have anything you would like to donate, bring it by the Habitat Office on Wednesday, October 3 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. or Thursday, October 4 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Maybe you have some books, dishes, furniture, tools, decorations etc. that are taking up space, bring them on by! (Items should be in good, clean working condition, PLEASE NO CLOTHING.)
There are two ways you can help:
1) Donations are needed for garage sale items, drop them off October 3 and 4.
Search your closets and garages for unwanted or no longer needed items.
2) Come to the garage sale, invite your friends, family and neighbors as a fundraiser for Habitat for Humanity. October 5 and 6 from 8:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.
Don’t forget that Habitat for Humanity is having a raffle for a custom built garden shed, tickets are $5 each and the winning ticket will be drawn at noon on Saturday, October 6. So stop by, do some shopping, and purchase a raffle ticket.
Garage Sale and Drop Off Location:
