The Fillmore County Board met in special session at the Courthouse in the City of Preston. All members were present. Also present were the Coordinator/Clerk, and other department heads and staff, citizens, and two members of the press.
The following resolutions were adopted by the Board:
RESOLUTION 2012-021 AMENDED: Bridge Project SAP 23-598-013 on CR #115, Canton Township
RESOLUTION 2012-022 AMENDED: Bridge Project SAP 23-612-035 on CSAH #12, Carimona Township
RESOLUTION 2012-026 AMENDED: Bridge Project SAP 23-625-011 on CSAH #25, Arendahl
RESOLUTION 2012-043:Conditional Use Permit for Tom and Shelly Kraetsch to expand Hidden Valley Campground, Section 5, Preston Township
The Board approved the following agenda items:
• the amended agenda.
• the following Consent Agenda:
1. August 14, 2012 County Board minutes.
2. August 20, 2012 County Board minutes.
3. Temporary liquor license for Preston Servicemen’s Club for September 22, 2012.
4. Overnight stay for three property appraisers for Mass Appraisal Course for licensures and continuing education.
5. Overnight stays for County Coordinator and Human Resources Officer to attend Association of MN County’s LEAN training.
• authorize letter of credit for purchase of used excavator.
• Memorandum of Understanding with Law Enforcement Labor Services, Inc., Local #24, 2012-2014 contract.
• promotion of Derek Fuglestad, Deputy Sheriff to Patrol Sergeant.
• internal placement of Brian Guber, Deputy Sheriff, as replacement County Patrol.
• in-house advertisement for replacement Deputy Sheriff for Harmony-Mabel-Canton contract.
