Congratulations to Cheryl Miller of Preston. Miller won $5,000 by playing the Lottery’s Cash Multiplier scratch game. Miller claimed the prize on Aug. 20, 2012. The winning ticket was purchased at Preston Motor Mart, 209 Kansas St. NW in Preston.
Proceeds from the Minnesota State Lottery benefit all Minnesotans. Since 1990, the Lottery has raised more than $2.1 billion for state programs. The General Fund has received over $1.2 billion to help fund important functions such as education, public safety and health and human services. More than $825 million has funded critical environmental programs.
