Madison Carla Holten, stillborn daughter of Stephanie Folstad and Nick Holten of Mabel, was born Thursday, May 31, 2012, at the Gundersen Medical Center in LaCrosse, Wisconsin.
Madison is survived by her parents of Mabel; brothers Aiden and Taylor Holten; maternal grandparents Neil and Betsy Folstad of Mabel; paternal grandparents David and Diane Holten of Spring Grove and Patty and Keith Nedegaard of St. Paul; maternal great-grandmother Carla Johnson of Mabel, and Oranda and Darrell Sinclair of Spring Grove; paternal great-grandparents Dorothy and Francis Manhart of Caledonia; aunts and uncles Liz Folstad, Ashley (Jeff) Rein, and Kyle Folstad all of Mabel, Gina (Taylor) Peterson of Peterson, Joseph Holten of Spring Grove, and Jessie Holten of Caledonia.
She was preceded in death by maternal great-grandparents Myron Johnson and Elmer Folstad, and paternal great-grandparents Albert and Mabel Holten.
Services were Saturday, June 2, 2012, at the Scheie Lutheran Church in rural Mabel with the Rev. Mary Waudby officiating. Internment was in the church cemetery. Mengis Funeral Home in Mabel assisted with arrangements.
