Lanesboro Community Theater’s 2012 summer production will be DON’T HUG ME. It will be presented at the Lanesboro St. Mane Theater, Parkway Ave. N on June 22, 23, 24 and June 29, 30 and July 1. The Friday and Saturday shows are set for 7 p.m., the Sunday shows at 2.
The musical is directed by Rita Dalzell of Lanesboro. Tom Schramm of Lanesboro is Gunner Johnson; Krista Johnson of Dexter is Clara Johnson; Barbara Benson Keith of Lanesboro plays the role of Bernice Lundstrom with Rick Nance of Cresco, Iowa, as Aarvid Gisselsen and Robin Krom of Lanesboro as Kanute Gunderson.
It’s FARGO meets THE MUSIC MAN (without the blood or the trombones).
Oh, for cryin’ in yer snow shoes! It’s the coldest day of the year in Bunyan Bay, MN, when a slick karaoke salesman arrives at the Bunyan Bay, MN, bar and turns the locals’ lives upside down. With its over the top songs and crazy characters, this “Minnesota love story with singin’ and stuff” will have you in stitches.
Tickets may be purchased at the Lanesboro Arts Center and at the door
