The concert will feature a variety of musical styles, ranging from Renaissance and Baroque motets to American folk songs and spirituals. Highlights of the program include the familiar Lost in the Night by F. Melius Christiansen, Lux Arumque, by the contemporary American composer Eric Whitacre, and the popular arrangement of the American folk song, Shenandoah, by James Erb. Other composers and arrangers represented on the program include William Byrd, Orlando di Lasso, Josef Rheinberger, André Thomas, and Moses Hogan.

The Concert Choir is conducted by Dr. Paul Nesheim who is in his sixth year as the director of choral activities at MSUM.
