Fannie Tibbals

Fannie Tibbals, 92, of Lime Springs, IA, died at Evans Memorial Home in Cresco on Thursday, April 20, 2000.
Fannie was born on September 25, 1907, in Howard County, IA, the daughter of Albert and Emma Stockdale. She married Ernest Tibbals on October 17, 1925 and they farmed until retiring to Lime Springs. Ernest passed away in 1993.
She is survived by five daughters, Darline (Wilbert) Boehmer of New Concord, KY, Maxine Peter of St. Charles, MN, Georgia (Arlin) Hebrink of Harmony, Iva (Gary) Zirbel of Rochester, and Marie (Jerry) Krueger of Chester, IA; two sons Alton and Rex Tibbals, both of Lime Springs; 22 grandchildren; and several great and great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, four brothers, two sisters, and a great great grandchild.
Services for Mrs.Tibbals were held Monday, April 24, 2000 at United Methodist Church in Lime Springs. Burial was in Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Lime Springs. Lindstrom Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
