Anna Marie Loomis, the 1-month old daughter of Sara and Russ Loomis of rural Preston, died of sudden infant death syndrome, Sunday, May 28, 2000, at Saint Marys Hospital in Rochester. She was born April 28, 2000 at Olmsted Community Hospital in Rochester.
In addition to her parents, survivors include a brother, Justin, and two sisters, Emily and Jessica, all at home; a half-sister, Amber Loomis of Tomahawk, WI; a half-brother, Jon Loomis of Chatfield; maternal grandparents, Lea and Freddie Buenger of rural Preston; and paternal grandparents, Bonnie and John Loomis of Hokah.
A private service will be held at a later date with the Rev. Darrin Whipple officiating. Burial will be in Carrolton Cemetery in rural Fountain. Thauwald Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
