William Davidson

William Davidson, 96, a retired Spring Valley area farmer, died Sunday, May 28, 2000, at Sauer Memorial Nursing Home in Winona.
Born July 9, 1903, in Duluth, he attended area country schools, Spring Valley High School and St. John’s Lutheran Church in Wykoff. On Oct. 6, 1938, he married Edna Schneider at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Wykoff. Mr. Davidson farmed in the Spring Valley area and after moving to Spring Valley following his retirement in 1968, did odd jobs and was a handyman.
Survivors include his wife, of Winona. Three sisters and two brothers preceded him in death.
The funeral for Mr. Davidson was held Wednesday, May 30, 2000, with the Rev. Robert Bureister officiating. Burial was in Spring Valley Cemetery. Hindt-Hutchins Funeral Home in Spring Valley was in charge of arrangements.
