Lester Duane Hanson

Lester Hanson, 69, of rural Chatfield, died at his home Sunday, May 28, 2000.
He was born October 30, 1930, in Wykoff and married Shirley Smith on October 21, 1950, at the Fillmore Methodist Church. He was a retired truck driver for Kark Rendering Co.
Surviving are his wife; one son, Roger of Stewartville; three daughters, Donna, Marilyn and Linda, all of Chatfield; one granddaughter; two brothers, Cecil and Herman, Jr., both of LeRoy; five sisters, Marion Griffin and Mary Ferguson, both of Chatfield, Lois (Russ) Krueger of Dent, MN, Marge (Richard) Rickie of Grand Meadow and Agnes (Leonard) Hare of St. Paul. He was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.
The funeral for Lester Duane Hanson, was held on Wednesday, May 31, 2000 at the United Methodist Church in Chatfield with the Rev. Dennis Cox-Townsend officiating. Burial was held at the Chatfield Cemetery. Riley Funeral Home in Chatfield was in charge of arrangements.
