Ambrose E. Feldmeier

Ambrose Feldmeier, 84, of Rushford, formerly of Houston, died Thursday, June 22, 2000 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Home in Rushford.
Born October 29, 1915, in Hokah, he grew up in rural Hokah and graduated from St. Peter’s Catholic School. On January 29, 1955, he married Joyce Stumlin. Mr. Feldmeier worked on the family farm for many years. He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church and the La Crescent Knights of Columbus.
Survivors include his wife; four daughters, Elaine (Paul) Hildebrandt of Cottage Grove, MN, Marlene Petersen of Crystal Lake, IL, Judy (Tom) Vix of Houston and Mary (Daniel) Thoneson of Elroy, WI; four sons, Steven of Peterson, and Don, Paul, and Jerry, all of Houston, and eight grand-children. Six brothers and five sisters preceded him in death.
The funeral Mass for Ambrose E. Feldmeier was held Monday, June 26, 2000 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Houston with the Rev. William Kulas officiating. Burial was in Mount Calvary Cemetery in Hokah. Hoff Funeral Homes-Houston Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
