What I like about living in Fillmore County: Everything - the people, the scenery, all the fun things to do in our area, there's so much to see and do (like Opera on the Farm).
Fondest Memory: When I was about six years old, I came on the train from Auburn, Washington to Winona with my Dad. We took a taxi to my Grandma and Grandpa Wilson's farm near Peterson. On day Grandpa hitched up a horse to Great Grandpa Himlie's buggy and we went riding up Highway 16 to visit my Aunt Hazel, Uncle Marvin, and cousin Milford who lived 5 or 6 miles away.
Prized Possession: My family and friends.
Why I read the Journal: To keep up on local happenings and I enjoy the stories by all the talented local writers.
