Raymond Arnold Bothun

Raymond Bothun, 87, of Des Moines, IA, formerly of Lanesboro, died Sunday, July 2, 2000.
He was born September 2, 1912, in rural Lanesboro. Mr. Bothun worked for Deco Aluminum Co. in Des Moines for many years before his retirement. He married Jean Bellah and they were later divorced.
Survivors include a son, Raymond Jr. of Des Moines; three grandchildren; and a sister, Aleda Schwier of Wykoff. Two brothers and two sisters preceded him in death.
A memorial service for Mr. Bothun will be held in Lanesboro at a later date. The body was cremated. Johnson-Riley Funeral Home in Lanesboro was in charge of arrangements.
