Rita Nierenhausen, 53, of Dayton, Minn., formerly of Fountain, died Sunday, August 13, 2000, at Mercy Hospital in Coon Rapids, MN.
Rita D. Rustad was born Feb. 17, 1947, in St. Paul. She worked in accounting and bookkeeping in the medical industry and was a member of Servant of Christ Lutheran Church.
Survivors include two sons, Nicholas and Mitchell, both of Dayton; her mother, Donna Rustad of Fountain; and two brothers, Scott (Sharone) Rustad and Greg Rustad, both of Fountain. She was preceded in death by her father and a sister.
The funeral for Rita Nierenhausen was held Wednesday, August 16, 2000 at Servant of Christ Lutheran Church in Champlin, Minn., with the Rev. Eric Walbolt officiating. There was a graveside service Thursday, August 17, 200 in Fountain Lutheran Cemetery, with the Rev. John Sime officiating.
