Edythe Iverson, 84, died Tuesday, August 15, 2000, at Good Shepherd Home in Rushford.
She was born March 27, 1926, in Rushford. Following graduation from Rushford High School, she moved to St. Paul, where she worked for the state printer. She later worked for North Central Broadcasting and was a legal secretary at the Briggs and Morgan law office in St. Paul for 39 years. In 1981, she retired and returned to Rushford. She enjoyed golf, music and reading. She was a member of Emmanuel Episcopal Church and the American Legion Auxiliary in Rushford.
Survivors include two brothers, Lyle (Betsy) Iverson and Richard (Mairine) Iverson, both of Modesto, CA., and a sister, Betty (Rees) Johnson of Rushford. She was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.
The funeral for Miss Iverson was held Saturday, August 19, 2000, at Emmanuel Episcopal Church in Rushford, with the Rev. Lawrence J. Green officiating. Burial was in Rushford Oak Grove Cemetery. Hoff Funeral Homes-Cook Rushford Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
