My 12-year old son Cole says, "When dad says something, it happens." I'm a man of action not words. You'll see that in that I work as a sales and marketing director for Steuart Labs in Harmony. We produce human and animal care products. My duties include setting up displays at stores, marketing to medical professionals, attending trade shows, and working on obtaining VA and other contracts. I work closely with the EDA, MPI and AURI.

I have a degree in sales, marketing and management from Southeastern Minnesota Technical College.

Activities I have been involved in include: UMC board, Sons of the American Legion, Lion's Club, and I have also served on the Lanesboro School and Tri-County Electric Advisory boards and the Jaycees.

As I have been campaigning in the First District and have talked to others who live and/or work in Fillmore County, I have asked people what they think are the major concerns facing the county. Through my questioning I have heard answers ranging from nothing to education, schools, taxes, jobs, wages and zoning/land-use.

Each of these is a vital issue facing the county. The decisions made will impact us both today and how our children live and work in Fillmore County in the future.

My goal is to take action. I'll work hard on the committees I serve on, listen to the recommendations of committee members and the experts brought in, and make the best decisions for everyone in the First District. I believe we need to quit tabling the future of Fillmore County and use common sense to make decisions.

I plan to hold monthly meetings in the different areas of the First District to listen to the people about their concerns.
