1st DistrictAs a resident of Fillmore County my entire life, I feel I know the residents very well and what they want and expect of our local government. Because I have been involved in managing local government programs as well as managing and operating my own beef and crop farm, I feel I have the expertise needed to manage local government successfully.

I have always believed that we have a great county to live and work in as a citizen of the United States. That is why as a Fillmore County resident I met with the Fillmore County Corn Growers and planted the seed for our area Ethanol Plant and then worked with them to make that idea a reality.

In the last few years our county has been faced with some very tough issues. Some of these issues have really tested our strengths. As our county grows we will need to become more open and tolerant without losing sight of why we as citizens of Fillmore County decided to live and work in this great county.

As Fillmore County Commissioner, one of my goals would be to work for limited terms. I truly believe that Fillmore County has been blessed with many very qualified leaders that could bring many opportunities to our county government.

I promise if I am elected I will work hard and always be willing to listen to your concerns with an open mind. It is my hope that if elected we can all work together to keep all the great things for which our ancestors worked so hard.
