Kingsland Elementary School, Kingsland Middle School and Kingsland High School have been entered into the Kohl's Cares school contest. Kohl's will award one-half million dollars to twenty schools nationwide. Contest winners are selected by receiving the most votes on Facebook.

Individuals wishing to support their favorite schools in this contest should go to the web site http://bit.ly/kohlscares, where they can sign up for or log onto facebook and vote. Participants will be given twenty votes and can vote up to five times per school. Voters must be at least thirteen years of age. As a part of the contest, individuals may also suggest ways for schools to spend their contest winnings. The contest ends on September 3. Full contest rules can be found on the web site.

Because this is a nationwide contest, there may be several schools that share the same name. Voters should be careful to select their chosen school's name in the correct city and state.
