Dianna L. Horsley, 61, of Rochester, a former secretary, died of cancer September 27, 2000 at Saint Marys Hospital where she had been a patient four days. She had been ill two years.

Dianna L. Thompson was born February 6, 1939, in Lanesboro, grew up here and graduated from Lanesboro High School in 1957. Before moving to Rochester in 1991, she resided in St. Paul and California and was a secretary for a bookkeeping company. She married Dean DuFresne, and they were later divorced. On April 20, 1985, she married Byron Horsley. He died April 6, 1991. Mrs. Horsley was a member of the Lanesboro American Legion Auxiliary.

Survivors include two brothers, Carl J. Thompson of Lanesboro and L. Gene(Jeanne) Thompson of Camarillo, CA.; and three sisters, Irene Strom of
Lanesboro, and Lois Nelson and Gloria (Norris) Nelson, both of Rochester. She was preceded in death by two daughters, two brothers and a sister.

A memorial service for Dianna L. Horsley was held September 30, 2000 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Lanesboro, with the Rev. Kerry Eversole officiating. The body was cremated. Interment will be at a later date. Johnson-Riley Funeral Home in Lanesboro was in charge of arrangements.
