Come for an easy one hour walk along the award-winning Houston levee prairie in Trailhead Park at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 4, at the Houston Nature Center. Find out why cord grass can give you welts and which plant holds water for the birds to drink. Smell the plant that bears the same name as an ingredient in Earl Grey Tea and learn how compass plant earns its name. Feel free to bring a camera.
