Pork and Beans Soup

Pork and Beans Soup

1 can (16 oz.) pork and beans
3 stalks celery, diced
3 carrots, peeled and diced
1 medium onion, chopped
1 teaspoon dried parsley flakes
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 tsp paprika
1/3 cup brown rice

Combine all ingredients in a 6-qt. pan. Add water to within 1 inch of the top of the pan. Bring to a boil and stir. Reduce heat to low-medium and cook for 40 minutes.
