Arden Jacobson

Arden Eugene Jacobson, age 68, of Harmony, died Friday, January 5, 2001, at Green Lea Manor Nursing Home in Mabel where he had spent the past few years.

Mr. Jacobson was born November 27, 1932 in Preston. He lived in Preston until 1945, then moved to Harmony. He served in the Korean Conflict and later returned to Harmony to reside. He was a general laborer around the Harmony area during his working years. He was known as “Jake” to many of his friends. Arden enjoyed spending time with family and friends, fishing, animals and his plants.

He is survived by one sister, Marlene (Harvey) Fishbaugher of Harmony and their families. He was preceded in death by his parents, Selmer and Ruth Jacobson; a brother, Frederick Jacobson; and a niece Doris Fishbaugher.

Services were held on Sunday, January 14, 2001 at Lindstrom Funeral Home in Harmony with the Rev. Frances Townsend officiating. Flag presentation was conducted by the Gustav Berg American Legion Post in Harmony. Spring burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery in Preston.
