Clifford Roesler, 86, of Harmony, a longtime area farmer, died Monday, January 29, 2001, at Regional Health Services of Howard County, Iowa.

He was born July 11, 1914, in Howard County, IA. On March 1, 1937, he married Arlene Cooper in Lime Springs, IA, and they farmed south of Harmony.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Marvin, of Mount Pleasant, TX, and Kevin, of Harmony; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a sister, June Orum, of LeRoy. A son and two brothers preceded him in death.

The funeral for Mr. Roesler was held Thursday, February 1, 2001, at Greenfield Lutheran Church in Harmony, with the Rev. John Hagen officiating. Burial was in Greenfield Cemetery. Lindstrom Funeral Home in Harmony was in charge of arrangements.
