Ronni Lee Eppen, 39, of Chatfield, a Lakeside Foods employee, died of an apparent heart attack February 25, 2001 at his home.

Born March 22, 1961, in Rochester, he graduated from Chatfield High School in 1979 and lived in Chatfield most of his life. Mr. Eppen was a boiler operator at Lakeside Foods in Plainview the past 10 years. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed deer and turkey hunting. He and Dawn Lingbeck of Chatfield were engaged to be married.

Survivors include his parents, Willard and Carol Eppen of Chatfield; a brother, Rick (Tammie) of Pine Island; and two sisters, Nancy (Michael) Shumaker of Rochester and Susan (Thomas) Miller of Chatfield.

The funeral for Ronni Lee Eppen was held March 1, 2001 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Chatfield, with the Rev. Eugene Larrabee officiating. The body will be cremated after the service. Riley Funeral Home in Chatfield was in charge of arrangments. Memorials may be made to the Minnesota Lions Eye Bank.
