Michael G. Sundlee, 47, a Minnesota State Patrol dispatcher, died May 27, 2001 at his home in rural Wykoff.

He was born May 31, 1953, in Montevideo, Minn., and graduated from Montevideo High School in 1971. He married Sarah Welch on Sept. 6, 1992, in Chatfield. He joined the Army in 1972, and was discharged in 1976. He spent a short time in Minneapolis and lived in Chatfield for 20 years, moving to rural Wykoff seven years ago. He was a dispatcher for the State Patrol for 25 years in Rochester. He was a past president of the Tri-County chapter of Pheasants Forever and a member of the Chatfield Fish and Game Club.

Surviving are his wife; his parents, Orlin and Verna Sundlee of Brooklyn Center, Minn.; two sisters, Becky (Jon) Hintz of Champlin, Minn., and Andrea (Bob) Day, of Elk River, Minn.

The funeral for Michael G. Sundlee was May 31, 2001 at Chatfield Lutheran Church, the Rev. Christine Finfand officiated, with burial in Chatfield Cemetery. There was a graveside military service by the Chatfield VFW. Riley Funeral Home Chatfield was in charge of arrangements.
