Christian Heritage High School of Wykoff, MN was represented at the A.C.E. Ministries International Student Convention (ISC). The gathering took place at the University of Missouri-Columbia from May 26-31, 2001. Deena Grabau, of Spring Valley, joined in the group of 4001 students participating in the ISC. Deena is the daughter of Randy and Wendy Grabau.

Justin L. Peterson, of Lanesboro, son of Rita Peterson and the late LuVerne Peterson, received a Bachelor of Arts degree from St. Marys University, Winona on May 12, 2001.

Annette Peterson-Igbinovia, formerly from Lanesboro, received an Associate of Science degree from North Hennepin Community College on May 19, 2001. Annette is a member of the Phi Thate Kappa Society.

Jonathan Bunge, a freshman from Preston, has been named to the Luther College Deans List for the second semester of the 2000-01 academic year. Bunge is the son of Andrew and Gail Bunge of Preston.

Several local students have been named to the second semester Deans Honor List at Concordia College, Moorhead, MN. They are: Betsy Fink, daughter of Tony and Joleen Fink, Preston; Brandon Lange, son of Scott
Lange, Harmony and Marilyn Bratager, Preston; and Andrea Sorum, daughter of Jonathan and Ann Sorum.

Amanda R. Schwickerath, of Lime Springs, IA was named to the Deans List for the 2000-2001 spring semester at the University of Iowa, Iowa City.

Nathan Morse of Chatfield was named to the 2000-2001 spring semester Deans List at Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter, MN.

Courtney Lovejoy of Chatfield graduated Magna Cum Laude on May 27 from Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter, MN. She was also named to the 2000-2001 spring semester Deans List.

Alissa Dornink and Brandon Scheevel, both of Preston, were named to the Academic Deans List for the spring 2001 semester at Northwestern College, Orange City, IA.

Andrew Boll of Preston, a student at Concordia University, Seward, Neb., has been named to the Term Honors List for second semester of the 2000-2001 academic year. Boll is the son of John and Caroline Boll of Preston.

Jennifer Carlson of Spring Valley received the bachelor of arts degree in theatre/dance from Luther College, Decorah, Iowa, on May 20. Carlson is the daughter of Charlotte Carlson of Spring Valley and Greg Carlson of Preston.

Nevin Fenstermacher of Spring Valley was named to the Deans List at Minnesota State University Moorhead during spring semester 2001.

Brenda Jean Nash, daughter of Jerry and Susan Nash of Wykoff, was awarded a $250 cash gift through the U.S. Bank High School Award program. She was selected on the basis of her class rank and participation in post secondary enrollment options program.
