Leonard Hare passed away on May 29, 2001 in St. Paul, MN.

Leonard spent his childhood in Fillmore County and moved to St. Paul in 1946. On March 1, 1947 he married Agnes Hanson. Leonard served in the United States Army doing overseas duty in the Korean War. He was a very active member of the V.F.W. and a member of the United Methodist Church in St. Paul.

He is survived by his wife; 2 sons, Charles (Cindy) and Mark (Terry); a daughter Patty (Lonnie) Peters ; 4 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Alice Schneider of Wichita, Kansas and Darlene Knutson of Rochester; 2 brothers, Don of Maryland and Harlan of Florida and numerous brothers- and sisters-in-law.

Funeral services were held on June 1, 2001 at the United Methodist Church with burial at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
