Towering at six-foot-five-inches tall, Isaac Sveen, a 17-year-old in his junior year at Fillmore Central High School weighed in at 210 pounds and six-percent body fat for his first bodybuilding competition on October 2, 2010, in Menomonie, Wis..

With a total of 54 competitors, Isaac competed in the teen and novice categories, taking home first place in the teen category. The competition offered opportunities for men and women to of all ages to demonstrate their disciplines in figure, bodybuilding, and extreme fit.

Son of John and Rhonda Sveen of Fountain, Isaac's passion for bodybuilding has become a healthy addiction consisting of a calculated measure of diet and exercise.

Starting about ten months ago, Isaac became serious about improving his physique. Since that time, he has established a steady diet consisting of whey protein, creatine, and weight gainers - consuming over 5,000 calories per day.

Six days a week, Isaac hits the gym, Fillmore Fitness in Fountain, working out 1-1/2 hours to 2 hours per day. Utilizing a muscle group strategy, he focuses on legs two days a week, triceps and biceps one day a week, chest one day a week and back one day a week.

A typical day for Isaac starts out with 12 egg whites, two scrambled eggs and a protein drink. Yes, that's breakfast!

Lunch consists of a 12-ounce skinless, boneless chicken breast. Throughout the day, Isaac consumes more protein shakes. While most adults in the world are striving to lose a few pounds, Isaac Sveen is striving to gain weight - muscle weight, that is.

For dinner, carbohydrates consume the menu, often in the form spaghetti.

Surely, Isaac's monotonous diet and workout schedule may drive others to fall off the wagon of such discipline, but this is what he enjoys. When asked whom he considers to be an idol in the bodybuilding industry, Jay Cutler's picture was referenced with a pointing finger in the gym. Hanging from a large mirror is a picture of the 2010 Mr. Olympia, an icon in the industry.

Isaac's role model, 37-year-old Jay Cutler, stands at five-foot-nine-inches tall with a contest weight of 274 pounds and an off-season weight of 310 pounds. With 22-1/2-inch arms, 31-inch thighs, 20-inch calves, a 34-inch waist and a nineteen-inch neck, Cutler has achieved Mr. Olympia with the International Federation of Body Building and Fitness in 2006, 2007, 2009 and 2010. Isaac certainly has high aspirations and a dedication to achieving his goals.

A straight-A student at Fillmore Central High School, beyond an addiction to bodybuilding, like many teens, Isaac is weighing his options for the future. At this point, he is considering pursuit of a two-year degree in personal training or fire fighting training.

Along his journey to graduation in 2012, Isaac is pursuing another bodybuilding competition in May of 2011. His ultimate goal from now until he graduates from high school is to achieve a weight of 300 - of pure muscle.
