Jerry Laumb

Mr. Laumb, 51, of Rushford, died Saturday (July 21, 2001) at his home of cancer.

He was born Jan. 27, 1950, in LaCrosse, Wis. He married Barbara Carrier on March 16, 1968. He worked at Farmer's Elevator in Rushford for nine years and at Cenex as a liquid propane driver for 21 years.

Survivors include his wife, Barb; one son, Jay (Amber) Laumb of Kasson; two daughters, Amy Geiwitz of Houston and Sarah (Darin) Meyer of Rushford; four grandchildren; seven brothers, George Laumb Jr., Mike (Rena) Laumb, Don (Lexie Boehmke) Laumb, David (Lori Krage) Laumb, all of Rushford, James (Donna) Laumb of Clarksville, Tenn., Richard (Jeanne) Laumb of Texas, Randy (Cindy) Laumb of Washington state; and six sisters, Nancy (Lewie) Benson, Debbie (Allen) Heiden, Joyce (Bill) Miller, all of Rushford, Phyllis (Walt) Porter of Orange Park, Fla., and Beverly Porter and Lori (Jim) Booth, both of Winona. He was preceded in death by his parents.

The funeral for Jerry Laumb was on Tuesday (July 24, 2001) at the Rushford Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Roger Michaelson officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.
