On October 17, 2010, SMG Web Design was born with the hiring of Sheena Suckow -- the first official employee of this hopeful business venture.
By April of 2010, SMG Web Design was encouraged enough by the demand for website development and hosting services in the immediate region, so two more employees were hired to expand the knowledge base of the team.
The continued success of the team created a need for further expansion to an office located on the second floor of the Fillmore County Journal building, establishing a completely independent identity. In the month of June 2010, SMG Web Design took the leap of faith and moved upstairs at the same time hiring Michelle Haugerud.
As co-owner of the JEM Theatre in Harmony, along with her husband, Paul Haugerud, her business, marketing and web development experience have positioned the company to better manage growth and customer service.
SMG Web Design has grown as a result of the support and trust of local businesses in collaboration with a talented and dedicated team including Amanda Boerboom, Gabby Gatzke, Tyler Grundman, Michelle Haugerud, and Sheena Suckow.
I am pleased to announce that Michelle Haugerud has been named General Manager of SMG Web Design. Her leadership, innovation and customer-oriented approach to running the business have significantly improved our ability to improve all that we have to offer clients in our evolving marketplace.
