This weather is great, I drove to Preston the other day and went to the nursing home to Vivians 91st birthday party and it was so nice. I worked with Vivian years ago, about 50 years Id say, candling eggs. There was four of us girls and we had a lot of fun together. Lyle our boss can verify that. Remember Lyle when we put the rubber mouse in Marjories egg case and when she reached in for the eggs she saw the rubber mouse and let out a scream. Lyle came in and said Girls, get busy please. I met all of Vivians kids and her family made me feel right at home. I wish you many more birthdays Vivian. We all love you.

Doctor: You are going to have to go to the hospital tomorrow Joe.

Doctor: Its a big building with patients in it, but thats not important now.

Cowhand: Arent you putting that saddle on backward sir?

Each birthday will be a
gift of time,
and growing old will be a
gift of life.

Everyone complains about the complicated IRS tax return. They could be simplified to contain only three sentences:
How much did you make?
How much have you left?
Sent it in!

Take time to be alone and enjoy it. Use our thoughts to be content and grateful and to show a kind, caring attitude. Take a walk with your thoughts in meditation and prayer. Look outdoors and thank God for the beauty of the snow and birds.

Humpty-Dumpty sat on a wall,
Humpty-Dumpty had a great fall,
He cracked his skull and spilled some yoke,
But hes cheering up with a smile and a coke.

Great Americans
February is the birth month of two of the greatest Americans. The dates on which they were born are remembered and honored. We have not remembered the dates of their death, because Washington and Lincoln will live as long as there is an American alive to recall their words and deeds. They placed principle above privilege, patriotism above politics, and love of country above all personal gain.

Did You Know?
~America has more TVs than bathtubs. Guess commercials arent quite long enough to permit taking a bath.
~There is just no dignified way to slip on a icy sidewalk - so watch your step.
~Criticizing an egg is easier than laying one.
~To err is a privilege of human beings. But if you really want things fouled up, install a computer.
~Did it ever occur to you when you are praising your children to your neighbors or friends, that they may know some things about them that you dont know.
. . . . .
Tourist: We visited one place where they put popcorn in the pancakes, so they turn over by themselves.

~Until next week, Annabelle
