A new week Easter and next week it will be day-light saving time. For some of us its hard to get used to, but as time goes by we are all ready for it, especially those of you that have raking to do, lawns to mow and gardens to put in. I guess one more hour helps a lot. Happy Easter to you all.
. . . . .
Easter
Give thanks to God,
And humbly pray
To serve him well,
The Easter Day.
Give thanks to God,
For friends and flowers.
For sunny days
And cooling showers.
Give thanks to God;
Fill well your part,
Let love divine,
Possess your heart.

Lena: “What would you like to drink?”
Ole: “Ginger ale”
Lena: “Pale”
Ole: “Oh, no a glassful will be sufficient.”

Success is not a destination - it’s a journey.

When you wake up, get up - when you get up, do something.
. . . . .
Trying to dim someone else’s light doesn’t make your’s shine any brighter.

He who leaves
Kind deeds undone
And leaves kind
Words unspoken.
Is as sad, I think,
As an empty house,
With all its windows broken.

Facts
Full of keys: Lock industry spokesmen say the average person uses five different keys a day, but has a total of 27 keys around the house.
Yellow chickens: Some poultry farmers put marigold petals in their chicken feed to make the skins of their birds turn an appealing yellow.
. . . . .
Ever wondered how the Navy names its vessels?
• Destroyers after navel heroes
• Cruisers after cities
• Submarines after fish
• Battleships after states
. . . . .
Signs of the time
Car dealership: The best way to get back on your feet, miss a car payment.
Taxidermists window: We really know our stuff
On a front door: Everyone on the premises is a vegetarian except the dog.
Non-smoking area: If we see you smoking we will assume you are on fire and take appropriate action.
Optometrist’s office: If you don’t see what you’re looking for, you’ve come to the right place.
