Lanesboro promotes caps for good program

The Knitting Ministry of Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Lanesboro, MN, is participating in the Caps for Good Program. Save the Children and the Warm Up America! Foundation are asking Americans across the country to pick up your knitting needles and crochet hooks to help save the lives of nearly four million newborn babies in the developing world.Get started today!
If you are interested in participating, go to www.goodgoes.org/caps or you may contact Ann Osland 507-467-3013. Instructions for mailing your cap are included, or you may call Ann for her to arrange to mail your cap.
The Caps for Good grassroots initiative will be running through February, 2011 encouraging citizens of all ages to participate by making a cap and advocating and fundraising to provide newborn care in developing countries.
At the end of the program, caps will be distributed to pregnant women and new moms and their babies in Save the Children's programs in Asia, Africa and Latin America.
