Winslow attends promotion and education conference in Duluth

Jean Winslow, of Fillmore County Farm Bureau, joined nearly 100 Farm Bureau members from Minnesota at the Minnesota Farm Bureau Federation (MFBF) Promotion and Education (P&E) Conference January 28-29 at the Holiday Inn in Duluth, Minnesota.

Attendees toured Glensheen Mansion and Duluth Seaway Port Authority.

During the conference, they heard from featured presenters Chris Chinn, a Missouri farmer and past American Farm Bureau Federation YF&R chair, and Dave Martosko-Center for consumer freedom.

In addition, they heard presentations on strategies for success - Minnesota Farmers CARE, animals, environment, food, family, media training, grant writing, planting positive perceptions of agriculture and make and take, hands on classroom activities.

Minnesota Farm Bureau Federation President Kevin Paap and Minnesota Corn Growers President Greg Schwarz also addressed conference participants.
