Was out to my son's house the other day and when I came home the wagon train that was headed for Camp Winnebago was parked in the shade in the road-side park. They had come from Granger and were resting their horses. About 4:30 they came through Harmony and camped just on the east side of the highway out past Hecco. They had some beautiful horses. The next morning they pulled out from their stop. They raise money for the camp. Bless all you people for doing this especially in this hot humid weather, so the handicap kids can go to camp too.

In answer to an emergency call, the doctor gave the caller some instructions to follow until he arrived. The doctor was amazed upon reaching the patients bedside and roared, "e;who in the world stuffed that towel in your wife's month?"e; "e;I did, Doctor,"e; the husband said. "e;You told me to keep her quiet until you got here."e;

Ideas are very much like children - your own are wonderful.

A sense of humor is like a needle and thread, it will patch up so many things.

The best thing about being in your second childhood is that you usually have more money than in the first.

The more of earth we want - the less of heaven we'll get.

One of those days
Things were bad this
day and night,
I have a right to holler.
The only thing
that came off right,
was the button on my collar.

My Bible
A young Christian, packing his bag for a journey said to a friend of his, "e;I have nearly finished packing. I only have to put in a guide book, a lamp, a mirror, a microscope, a telescope, a volume of fine poetry, a few biographies, a package of old letters, a book of songs, a sword, a hammer, and a set of books I have been studying."e; The friend was perplexed and commented, "e;but you can't put all that into your bag, you don't have the room."e; "e;Oh, yes,"e; answered the Christian. "e;Here it is,"e; and with that he placed his Bible in the corner of the suitcase and closed the lid.

The Liberty Bell
We all know that the Liberty Bell was first rung on July 4, 1776, right? Wrong. It was on July 8, 1876, but it was rung to celebrate the adoption of the Declaration of Independence, and it cracked the first time it was rung! Wrong again. I performed perfectly every year till the death knell for Chief Justice John Marshall. It was rung again in 1944 to signal the allied invasion of Europe at Normandy on June 6, 1944.
