I've heard children potty train faster when they use cloth diapers. Is that really true?

When it comes to potty training success, there are a lot of things to take into account, but I can say that there are some advantages to using cloth diapers that will make potty training easier.

The biggest thing is that children in cloth diapers know when they are wet. There are a lot of chemicals in disposable diapers to absorb wetness and it can make a child's desire to potty train much less. When a child feels they are wet, they have an incentive to potty train.

Parents can purchase cloth training pants or Bedwetter Pants if they're not comfortable with just underwear. Bedwetter Pants are like pull-ups but are reusable. After a child is potty trained it may take years for them to be dry at night and having a few Bedwetter Pants can save hundreds of dollars over buying disposable pull-ups or diapers.

Method and time spent potty training play a big part in potty training success, but using cloth diapers certainly helps!
