With the elections fast approaching, it is important for us to decide who we want as our next county attorney. Brett Corson is the ideal choice for such a position. Brett is a hard worker who is not afraid to deal with the legal issues in our county in an effective and straightforward manner. He has demonstrated this effectiveness during his tenure as the Rushford City Attorney, as a private practitioner in Fillmore County for thirteen years, as Fillmore Township attorney, and as a major in the United States Marine Corps' JAG program. Brett also displays willingness to be an active participant in county programs and functions such as the Lions Club and his church. This active participation in the community along with his lifelong residency in Fillmore County makes him more down to earth concerning the important legal issues of Fillmore County residents. That familiarity with the communities is a very important trait for a county attorney to possess. For all of the above reasons, I will vote for Brett Corson for county attorney on November 5.
