I have known Sharon Ropes for many years through my association with the Minnesota State Horticulture Society. As a member of the Board of Directors, Sharon was a strong advocate for rural garden clubs. She successfully lobbied for more resources to be brought to the rural districts such as workshops, speakers, and the society's traveling bookstore. In the Minnesota Senate, I believe Sharon would bring those same positive skills and level of commitment to rural residents that she did for the Minnesota State Horticulture Society. If you are a resident of District 31 please vote for Sharon Ropes in next Tuesdays election.
