Just days removed from a senior class trip, a number of FC-L seniors returned to wreak havoc on opponent GMLOK. Colton Hampel calmly took the hill and effectively shutdown the Bulldog's bats. Over seven innings, he surrendered only four hits and two runs. Meanwhile, his teammates supplied plenty of offense. FCL batters cracked 13 hits and scored 12 runs. Three Falcons went 3-4, Tyler Eickhoff (HR, 2 RBI's, 2 runs, SB), senior Zach Olstad (3 runs, RBI), and senior Jordan Ristau (5 RBI's, 2 runs). Sophomore Dan Gatzke also reached safely in 3 of 4 plate appearances, notching a hit and walking twice (2 RBI's, 2 runs, SB). FCL was able to get in their first win in as many tries, 12-2 in six innings. GMLOK's Alan McCaulley had half his team's hits, going 2-3 with an RBI double.
