Public notice is hereby given that sealed proposals will be received by the City of Wykoff, Minnesota at the office of the City Clerk, City Hall, Wykoff, Minnesota, until 5:00 p.m. on the 9th day of August 2004, for furnishing materials and labor for construction of 2004 Concrete Walk Improvements as described as follows:
The contractor shall construct 1950 s.f. 4” concrete walk along the East side of Main Street from Pearl Street to Carimona Street. The walk shall be 4 feet wide and shall include two pedestrian ramps in the square foot unit price for the concrete walk. The concrete walk shall have a minimum compressive strength of 3900 psi. A minimum of 2 inches of Class 2 aggregate base shall be placed under the concrete walk. The City will remove the existing concrete walk.
Proposals will acted upon by the City Council at a meeting to be held in the Council Chambers, beginning at 7:00 p.m., on the 9th day of August 2004 or at such later time and place as may then be fixed.
The contractor shall complete all work on or before September 21, 2004.
The City Council reserves the right to reject any and all quotes and to waive technicalities and irregularities.
