Meeting called to order. In attendance were Myrna Luehmann, Greg Ehresmann and Rick Lamon. Minette Stalheim-Johnson asked to talk with the superintendents about a survey. An update on negotiations was requested. These items were added to the agenda and it was moved approved by G. Ehresmann, with a second by M. Luehmann.
The minutes of the May 2004 meeting were reviewed and approved. M. Luehmann moved to approve the minutes and G. Ehresmann seconded the motion.
A survey by the Fillmore County Family Services Collaborative was discussed. Ms. Stalheim Johnson indicated that the Collaborative wanted to have another survey completed but the organization is seeking a more economical way to accomplish this goal.
Bill payments were reviewed. An update was offered on the Day Treatment Program. A candidate for the teaching position was introduced to the group and talked with them briefly. A second teacher will not be hired unless the numbers increase to the point that one person cannot carry the teaching load and paperwork.
There is little change in the budget. As soon as the carryover is approved by MDE, it will be distributed.
The rent increase was presented to the superintendents along with the requests for repairing the damage caused by several years of a leaking roof.
Negotiations with the bargaining unit are not complete. G. Ehresmann shared the progress with the group.
Meeting was adjourned.
