Resolution establishing rates to be charged for the

furnishing of water from the municipal water system of the City of Wykoff

WHEREAS, The City Council of the City of Wykoff, Fillmore County, Minnesota, has heretofore duly passed and published Ordinance No. 65, entitled �An Ordinance requiring All Water Supplied by the Village of Wykoff to Be Metered, Providing for the Installation and Maintenance of Water Meters, Providing for the Collection of a Water Meter Deposit, and Providing for the establishing of Charges for the Supply of Water from the Municipal Water System�: and

WHEREAS, Section 7 thereof grants authority to the City Council of said City of Wykoff to establish by resolution rates to be charged for furnishing of water from the municipal water system to the various classes of users.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Wykoff, Fillmore County, Minnesota, that the following schedule of rates to be charged for the furnishing of water from the municipal water system, effective October 1, 2004, to-wit:

The minimum shall be $13.50 per month per unit (a household or a business) for 1,000 gallons.

Over 3,000 gallons per quarter per unit (a household or business) is $5.50 per one thousand gallons.

For connections that are unable to be metered, the charge shall be a minimum of $13.50 per month with an additional $6.00 per month for each additional occupant of the residence over one (1).

Passed and adopted this 9th day of August 2004 by the City Council of the City of Wykoff.
