ROCHESTER, Minn. - Motorists can expect single-lane traffic on Highway 43 between Rushford and Interstate 90 when crews begin resurfacing the road Monday, May 2, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
Flaggers and a pilot car will control traffic throughout the project, which is scheduled to continue through June, weather permitting.
When the project is complete, motorists will experience a smoother ride surface and a safer highway with new guardrail.
Dunn Blacktop Co., a division of Mathy Construction, is the prime contractor for the $2,381,130 project.
Mn/DOT urges motorists to always drive with caution, slow down in work zones and never enter a road blocked with barriers or cones.
