Notice Fillmore County Sewer Grants

Fillmore County in conjunction with the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency is conducting a 3-year survey of all sewers in the county to identify sewers that are imminent public health threats. These are sewers that are coming to the surface or backing up in the home. These sewers need to be brought up to code. The County will be offering $300 grants as long at they last to the first 553 applicants. There are also low interest loans available. Those landowners who wish to take advantage of the grant should contact the Fillmore County Soil and Water Conservation District at (507) 765-3878 for an inspection of the site.
