NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS-

Notice is hereby given that sealed bids will be accepted by the County Engineer, at the Fillmore County Highway Department, Preston, MN. until 1:30 p.m. on the 19th day of July, 2005, for the following project(s):

S.A.P. 23-618-09; Aggregate Base, Bituminous Surfacing, and Aggregate shouldering, on C.S.A.H. #18, located between CSAH #21 and C.S.A.H. #23, in Amherst Township. Major quantities include: 7,000 tons aggregate base & shoulder material; 9,000 tons 2360 Bituminous Wear and Non-wear mixture; and epoxy striping materials. Plan and proposal price for one project set is $25.00.

S.A.P. 23-608-38; Cold-in-place Recycling, Bituminous Surfacing, and Aggregate shouldering, on C.S.A.H. #8, located between CSAH #7 and T.H. #52, in Fountain Township. Major quantities include: 52,165 s.y. cold-in-place recycling; 287 tons Bituminous Material for Mixture; 6,632 tons 2360 Bituminous Wear mixture; 2,235 tons cl-2 mod aggregate material; and epoxy striping materials. Plan and proposal price for one project set is $25.00.

S.A.P. 23-605-28; Milling, Cold-in-place Recycling, Bituminous Surfacing, and Aggregate shouldering, on C.S.A.H. #5, located between CSAH #4 and 4.1 miles NE, in Jordan Township. Major quantities include: 58,246 s.y. Bituminous milling; 58,246 s.y. cold-in-place recycling; 256 tons Bituminous Material for Mixture; 7,250 tons 2360 Bituminous Wear mixture; and epoxy striping materials. Plan and proposal price for one project set is $25.00.

Plans, proposals and specifications can be examined and obtained from the Fillmore County Highway Department, 909 Houston St., Preston, MN. 55965, ph#507-765-3854. Checks, or money orders must be payable to the Fillmore County Treasurer.

Bids submitted must be individually sealed, and identified on the outside for each specific project. A bidders bond or a certified check in the amount of at least 5% of the total amount bid and payable to the Fillmore County Treasurer must accompany each bid.

Fillmore County reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
