It's gonna be a bamboo blast! Kids ages Pre-K-6th grade are invited to Panda Mania where they will discover that God is wild about them! Join us June 13-16 at Mabel First Lutheran Church. We're walking from 6:00-8:00 pm each evening. Families are invited to a kick-off supper from 5:00-6:00 pm on Monday, June 13. Families and community members (also known as Very Important Pandas) are invited to the Rowdy Roundup Thursday, June 16 at 8:00 pm.
Panda Mania-Where God is Wild about You! is filled with incredible Bible-learning activities where kids discover that God is wild about them. We will explore a bamboo forest filled with crazy pandas and discover how to see God in everyday life-something we call God Sightings. Kids will enjoy hands on Bible adventures and daily video visits with Chadder Chipmunk. They will learn that God made us, God listens to us, God watches over us, and God gives good gifts. They will sing catchy songs, play teamwork- building games, make amazing crafts, visit the food shelf, and enjoy wacky snacks.
Our service project to share God's Love will be the Mabel Area Food Shelf. Each day students will be encouraged to bring items for the food shelf or cash. An offering of food or cash will also be taken during the Rowdy Round-up.
Sponsoring churches: Mabel First Lutheran, Mabel and Newburg United Methodist Churches, St. Olaf Catholic Church, and Scheie and Garness Lutheran Churches with financial support from the Area Council of Churches.
All kids are welcome to walk in and register on June 13. Questions? Call Pastor Mary 493-5587.
